Why am I getting male viewers on my profile when I am not interested... I don't mind them looking but I am as hetrosexual as can be!

Just getting a little annoying no females viewing.

There's just a lot more men on this site than any other gender identity so natural more men will be scrolling through people's profiles. Also I can't speak for everybody but sometimes when I'm reading through the forum I'll also click on people's profiles just to see more about them. It doesn't necessarily mean these men are interested in you, it just means they're looking around the site

So I took a gander at your profile. Honestly, beloved, this is 100% within your control here.

You barely post. When you do it's it's very spread out. You do not not engage in the community much. The last forum post you made was you being horny.

Women are very selective with profile views. If you give a man any kind of attention, a lot of them will take that as permission to be creepy and crazy. I used to deal with this all the time until I garnered the reputation I have today. And even then I still get the occasional weirdo.

So if you want more women to engage with you, you need to be more active in the community. This is so we can gain a sense of your character and see if you are someone worth giving our attention to. Like I said, it's a big gamble for a lot of women. Give your attention to the wrong person, and now you got a stalker to deal with.

I checked your profile to see who you are out of curiosity (first saw this post)

If you want some advice on how to get more attention from the ladies here, i think i could share an experience i had (a few days ago, ironically!) which hopefully will be insightfull.

A girl had texted me here recently! (very unusual!) And we talked about lots of things! (Womens' issues, Men's issues, etc) And at some point i asked her what motivated her to dm me. She said that the openess in my account (and i suspect in the description, more than anything) was the reason she started talking with me in the first place.

So i would say, be open and explicit about your feelings, especially those that the "stereotypical man shall never show". (:

This is also similar to what Munchies says, i think. You have to expose your personality in such a way that other people can form an understanding on it. And that requires some volume of interaction, but also, and i think this is a problem here, these interactions should be such that will test you in some sense! The problem is that here in FF, there isnt much room for this kind of interactions which can really test people. So, do your best in your profile description too!

I click on all kinds of peoples profiles, on purpose and by accident, lmao! I hope people don't think it is because I am attracted to them all?

Just because someone checks on your profile doesn't mean they are interested.
It means they are curious.
Munchies comment is right on point.

As a Mod I check out profiles all the time. This gives me a little insight on the person. I also did this before I was a Mod. The thing is you may get a lot of folks looking at your profile just to see who you are! Enjoy the site!

You would not *believe* the number of messages I get that are "thanks for checking out my profile" BUDDY I probably didn't even mean to, and if I did, I can't *see* anything without reading it and you getting a notification; it doesn't mean a darn tootin' thing

I will raise my hand and say that I don’t love the feature that shows you who looked at your profile, but at this point it’s whatever. People write cool and funny stuff in their profiles and I probably won’t see it unless I’m looking for troublemakers.

I feel like I’ve been on other sites where you had the option to view profiles anonymously, but you also couldn’t see when other people viewed you, or vice versa, which I thought worked well.
